Derashos of The Pnei Menachem

Even before ascending to leadership of the Gerrer dynasty, the Pnei Menachem, R’ Pinchas Menachem Alter, was an influential and inspiring leader. As longtime Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshiva Sfas Emes, he was responsible for teaching thousands of students. As a celebrated orator, he mesmerized countless audiences with his brilliance and clarity. As a Torah leader, he was involved in vital communal issues. And as a warmhearted and understanding Torah giant, he was the address to whom thousands turned for guidance, encouragement, and solace.

This volume captures the Pnei Menachem’s inspiring genius as expressed in his derashos on Yamim Tovim. He weaves together a broad range of sources — Midrash, Zohar, halachah, Kabbalah, Mussar and Chassidic works — to give us a better appreciation and understanding of the annual cycle of our holidays.

Uplift every season of the year – and, indeed, uplift all the days of your life -- with this invaluable Torah work.
