Delayed Reaction

For centuries, Jew and gentile alike have entertained the same burning question: Where is the Ark of the Covenant hidden? Amateur archaeologist Matti Lazarus believes that he is on the trail of the most searched-for artifact in human history.

Unfortunately, someone is not happy about this. Before long, Matti is in a deep coma in the hospital - leaving his son, Maoz, to carry on his quest. Before Maoz reaches the end of the trail, he will find himself at the center of the vortex of several violent plotting factions, each determined to use the young Israeli to help it be the first to reach the Ark.

Rewind 2,000 years. Titus and his army stand poised to invade Jerusalem and do the unthinkable: destroy the Holy Temple. Gamliel, a wealthy Kohen, devises a plan whereby, should the worst happen and the Roman hordes succeed in their goal, all may not be lost. As the siege continues and his fellow Jerusalemites face starvation, war, and the end of life as they know it, Gamliel risks all to save that which is most precious to his people.

In his inimitable fashion, Yair Weinstock has created a double delight: a combination modern-day thriller and historical drama between the pages of the same riveting book. You'll be sure to find this a unique read - and a completely unforgettable one.
